【人民報消息】（人民報記者唐玥12月22日報道）新唐人電視臺2007年「全球華人新年晚會」將在北美、歐洲、亞洲、大洋洲的28個城市，超過60場演出，至少將吸引10萬觀衆，由新唐人電視臺推出的全球華人新年晚會被譽爲世界最大的海外華人慶祝過年的活動。2007年全球華人新年晚會的首場將在溫哥華上演，加拿大還有渥太華、多倫多、蒙特利爾等城市也邀請了新唐人全球華人新年晚會前來表演。這一盛事收到了加拿大許多政要和社會各界名流的讚揚和祝賀。

◎ 12月15日收到了加拿大總理斯蒂芬．哈珀的賀信，讚賞加拿大華人對國家所作的貢獻。哈珀在信中說，「新唐人電視臺將美妙的傳統中國文化展現給加拿大的觀衆，他們的付出和努力很值得讚賞。」

◎ 加拿大總理國會祕書傑森.肯尼: 「我很高興祝福每個人有一個快樂成功和幸運的豬年，我希望大家在新唐人舉辦的華人新年晚會上好好的慶祝一番。」
